I adored her and did not want to let her out of my sight. She was my idol. In fact i knew where her friends lived so at 3 years old when she went to a friends home I decided I should go there too.

So, at 3 years old I went out the door to find Ginny. I walked down Woodside Ave and then went to cross a very dangerous street when a neighbor recognized me, picked me up and called my mother. Apparently all I could say is I was going to Ginny. I did not care that I got in trouble. I had a goal and my mother watched me very carefully after that.

I also referred to Ginny as my other Mother. When my mother would not give me what I wanted I would say I will ask my other mother. I think she Ginny must have complied with my requests and this is why she obtained that name of other mother.

I loved visiting her during the day while she made untold loaves of bread for her growing family. We would laugh, sing and share many things. I will cherish those moments forever.

I am so grateful to God for such a gift in my life and thankful that I got to be with her at the end of her life. She was a guide and inspriation to many members of our family. She will be with me in my heart and memeory for  the rest of my life and I look forward to meeting her again.

Story shared: Working at W.P.U. http://fjohnramseyfuneralhome.frontrunnerpro.com/runtime/186217/runtime.php?SiteId=186217&NavigatorId=982904&ItemId=2811993&op=tributeFamilyStories&viewOpt=dpaneOnly&gid=story6639622 I knew Ginny way before we met at WPU,so our friendship goes way back to when she lived in Haledon & was friends with my sister Betty.  Ginny was a good pal, co-worker, & a caring person.  We shared a lot of laughs, Parties at Billy Pat's, feeling the abs of John Wayne statue at Celebrities, wearing funny hats & posing for pictures at evts. singing silly songs, lunches w/the girls, trips to N.Y. for shows, christmas partys at my house & if you needed a hand she would lend it. She was a loving mother to her kids, and loved to share the photos of her grandchildren with her co-workers.  In between the fun she actually found time to work. She will be missed,  not only by her family but by her many friends from William Paterson Univesity. She may have been robbed of her memory but we will always remember Ginny.
